We are extending the school to include grades 9-12. This will extend the ‘family’ for the children right until they graduate grade 12.

​WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS FOR THE CHILDREN OF SOUTH SUDAN WITH YOUR GENEROSITY 

Children of Promise Canada's focus is on 
making a long term difference for these South Sudanese children  living in  the Hope for Children Orphanage in Gambela, Ethiopia 

South Sudan is often called the forgotten crisis

The country of South Sudan is one of the poorest and most undeveloped countries in the world; made worse by harsh weather and a civil war that has been going on before and after its independence from Sudan in 2011.
For many years, our organization has been the sole financial support of an orphanage in South Sudan known as Children of Hope Orphanage. The number of children we support has fluctuated in the past as environmental conditions often changed dramatically. However, our numbers are fairly stable currently at approximately 200 South Sudanese children between the ages of 4 and 19. Over the past 2 years we have been proud of the great progress we have made in providing a more stable and safe living environment for these orphaned and abandoned children.  Read on to learn about this progress...
Children of Promise Canada is the sole financial supporter for 
Hope for Children Orphanage which  provides shelter, nutrition, clothing, medication and education to approximately 200 South Sudanese orphans EVERY DAY.
